Free throw shooting

Our free throw shooting percentage is better in conference than it was in the early games. We now have two 90% or better shooters in Sharane and Gabbi. The team is shooting 72%.

It also seems we are getting to the line more this year with our guards than we did last year as this group is generally more aggressive in taking the ball inside and drawing contact.

Gabbi was 1 of 9 in non-conference play, but 9 of 10 in conference play. I've seen turnarounds, but that is ridiculous.

I have been haunted by the free throws that we missed last year with the game on the line. Peyton and Maddie hit 21 of 25 last night, and they were 13 of 14 in the last few minutes. They seem to relish conflict and stress. It brings out Maddie and Peyton. I think it may also evoke something from Gabbi and Vivi. When has Vivi performed the best---against Texas and in OT against Illinois?
