Someone refresh my memory on why Edmond's Courtney Walker chose Texas A&M over the Sooners?

Was it lack of effort on the part of the OU coaches? Walker's "personality" not fitting with the OU team?

Or, did the young lady just decide that she wanted to go out of state for her college education?

Just wondering...

Walker committed to OU early in her high school career. She de-committed and chose A&M later on. Some say Coale quit having contact with her and others said it was some course of study she wanted at Aggieland. Kamy Cole of TCU did the same thing also. We could have used both of them this year.

Did you see who was 1st team mid-major. OU could have used Kevi Luper for 4 years. I will agree OU would have been better with Walker. I don't know about Cole. For some reason, I think Cole was about a boyfriend.

All of the big schools passed on Luper because of her knee injuries in HS.

Big mistake! We aren't really scared of our own players having knee surgeries so it doesn't make much sense to shun a recruit who has them.

All the other majors made the same decision we did.

And it's not like we have an option when one of our players go down.

She liked A&M's Engineering School - her major is Computer Engineering.
