NORMAN – The Oklahoma men's basketball team (15-4, 2-4) goes for its third consecutive win and second straight on the road when it plays at No. 13/15 Texas A&M (15-5, 4-3) on Tuesday at 8 p.m. CT.

Tuesday's game, which is the first of five straight for OU against top-25 teams, will be televised by SEC Network with Richard Cross (play-by-play) and Pat Bradley (analyst) announcing. It will air on the Sooner Sports Radio Network (KRXO 107.7 FM The Franchise in Oklahoma City; KTBZ 1430 AM in Tulsa; Varsity Radio App) with Toby Rowland (play-by-play) and Kevin Henry (analyst) on the call.

OU + 8.5 o/u 143.5

Wish he would start Wague. He’s been the guy diving on the floor. Need to get that mindset early and have it rub off on everyone. Maybe play Forsythe early for the same reason if he sees anyone playing passive.
Agree on Mo. He is the one guy who always is noticeable for how hard he plays. Diving on the floor rather than leaning over hoping to pick up a loose ball, etc. I am not nearly as sold on Dayton as most seem to be because other than hustle, I still don't think he provides a ton of upside. Mo hustles and has athletic ability than far exceeds the other two guys who play his position.

I would think our guys are going into this one with a chip on their shoulder considering what happened in the last meeting. You'd hope so, anyway. I believe this is a winnable and a must-win game, just to get some traction back in SEC play. Wasn't overly impressed with them last time out, although I'm sure this time they have their stud playing. Anyone know for sure if he's available?

He has played their last three games.

This game reminds me a bit of the Bama game. These guys aren't nearly as good as Bama, don't get me wrong. But I was confused why so many people going into that game acted as if Bama was so gettable. A&M is playing at home, coming off a very disappointing loss, and is full strength. We couldn't have asked for a better situation the last time we played them, including Goodine's miracle game, and we still couldn't beat them. Buzz will have his team ready.

I’d like to think OU can keep it close. But I could also see a blowout as well.

There’s nothing about their roster that should make it a bad matchup. They don’t have a real height advantage. They just rebound like their lives depend on it. It’s up to our guys to decide if they want to match that effort.
I agree. They blew an 18 point lead, not because AM suddenly woke up and are just so much better. OU blew an 18 point lead because they got lackadaisical. We’ll see

But that’s true of every SEC team. Gotta make up for it somehow.
Exactly, that’s a given. There are plenty of other teams in the league that I’d say have a bigger advantage because they are not only more athletic, but bigger and better inside.

They blew an 18 point lead because OU came in with a gameplan that was great and had incredibly great shooting and in the second half A&M adjusted. Porter's going to have to dial up something this game and the ball movement will have to be insane. And we HAVE to figure out how to get defensive rebounds off of long 3-point rebounds.

hopefully this georgia/sc game doesn’t run over too long, but it’s a good lead in as we really need sc to win.

sc hasn’t scored since I posted this. so that’s cool.

Compete, emphasize it, and work hard. That’s how you rebound. And if the guys playing don’t want to do it, go to the bench.

Either A*M comes out full of piss and vinegar (and we are in trouble) or they experience a hangover from blowing a big lead to their rival and don't play all that sharp (and we have a shot). Going to need big games from at least two guys and probably 3 to hang around.
