Does anyone know what day we will play winner of Colorado and st Bonaventure? Thanks

I wonder if they'll play at LNC with the womens tournament being this weekend because I believe the second round of the NIT is over the weekend.

Women's game is on 3/19 at 9pm.

Next round of NIT games is either on the 19th or 20th, so it could happen either day for the men's team.

I’m surprised the NCAA allows them to use the arena while the women’s tourney is in town. Good news for us, though.

It probably helps that the NCAA also runs the NIT now so they can make it work if need be.

We’re the one seed so if we aren’t at home then they screwed us.

With the NIT things don’t always work out. For example, take Dayton.

2020 headed to a #1 seed and then Covid.

2021 last team out of Dance thanks to Richmond. And now they can’t host the first game of NIT and are on road because the First Four is being played at their arena.

I know they said there were a few other higher seeded teams on road for various reasons. In our case, I’m not exactly sure why we wouldn’t be able to host round 2, but I assume there would be a valid reason.

It’s ridiculous if they can’t find a way for OU to host. Total nonsense.

Who is “they?” No one is screwing us. Our women had a great season and earned the right to host. There are women’s teams who need to use the arena for games and shootaround and practices. It sounds like there is a good chance we will host the game, but if not, who exactly is to blame? And as others note, we wouldn’t be the only seed to have to go on the road in the NIT.

No idea who this guy is...just posting to show the rule.

Going to be interesting to see how this plays out.

Play at the Fieldhouse then. I seem to remember Kentucky being forced to play a game at the old Memorial Coliseum when Rupp was unavailable. Make it happen, powers that be!

That would be sweet. I’m not up in arms about this by any means, but it’s a little curious that some sort of plan wasn’t already set in place. They’ve known this was a strong possibility since Sunday night. You’d think a contingency would have been set already.

Or Paycom Center in OKC? Is there any event going on there?
