Geno could be a good hire.

The only reason i say this is the Don Haskins experiment worked out pretty well at UTEP. He came there from coaching girls high school basketball. I'm just saying if our AD wants to give Geno a chance I'm not opposed to it.

No.

And he makes more than Capel did last year.

I do not think he would be able to recruit. Not only would have to build new contacts with AAU and High school coaches in a whole new regions I think he would be a tough sell to kids. I honestly believe a lot of the top kids would laugh at him behind his back, saying that he's just a womens coach. "Why I would I want to be coached by a womens coach?" stuff like that.

Its just my guess on that, but as good as he is with X's and O's I don't think he will be able to get the kids at OU.

Maybe he could bring Rebecca Lobo and Diana Taurasi with him as assistants. That would be sweet.

I don't see Joe doing this, if it failed it would definitely not look good for the program or for Joe C.

I can see the look on Jurick's face now when Geno makes an emergency trip to Tennessee to try and sign him.

Geno: "Phil, I developed Rebecca Lobo into an All-American and WNBA superstar. I can do the same for you at Oklahoma."

Jurick:

At least our guard problem would be solved. Do it Joe! WOW! GENO!

I am sorry but I knew Don Haskins and Geno is no Don Haskins.

Bandersnatch. All frumeoeus and jib jibe in the wabe

My only reason for the first post was that if you can coach, you can coach be it little league or the senior league at your local YMCA.

Whose recruiting class would you rather have: OU men's 2010 class or UCONN women's 2010 class? This could almost be a serious question.
