Good coaching

(Your posts) are going out of your way to interpret something as negatively as possible just so you can argue about it. And of course I was dumb enough to oblige you.....

If I have misinterpreted what he meant, I apologize. I don't think I did.

Sherri and Lon are both doing great coaching jobs this year! I sure didn't expect either team to win as many games as they have.

I want 2002 to repeat and have TWO teams in the Final Four :D

I know, a longshot, it's still a nice thought :)

SoonerNorm...you are getting on Darth for a comment about players that left and you are the one that wanted to throw basketballs and Morgans head at point blank range for turnovers!! Is clear to see from the post following your negative comments people on the forum are done with you. Will you please support our team or move on to another!

Your memory is fading. I never proposed anyone throw basketballs at any player.

BTW, who do you think started this thread about good coaching?

SoonerNorm....my apologies. It was Oliver Hardy that proposed that. Note to all...my bad for accusing SN and turning on him. Just the negative comments are starting to wear thin when this team has accomplished more to this point than most thought they could and they still need everyone's support as they come down the stretch.

No problem. I love the job that Sherri is doing this year. We are short handed but she is making the absolute most of a bad situation. My hat is definitely off to her!

I agree Sherri has done a great job motivating the team to perform this season even with losing players to injury, especially Hand. IMO, though you need to set high expectations for your team in order to achieve success. Performing well in conference is not as important as how far you go in Big Dance, where superstars are made!!

Whatever. Talk to us about high expectations next year.

Smug generalization.

Sometimes I suspect Sherri has taken this program as far as she can.

Going to the postseason every year is not a bad thing, especially in an injury depleted no-top-25 ranking (currently) year.

It's not football, so the donors and alums aren't going to lose interest without another national title. So, I guess I'm fine with another postseason trip every year and occasionally final fouring and winning the Big 12 tourney/reg season often during the past decade or so.

but still, it would be damn good times to beat the baylors. they don't have RG3 anymore to beat us in football or win a heisman. Their AAU runner Scott Drew basically had a breakdown in the post-OU loss presser, bemoaning his bad coaching. If they don't have Baylor women dominating basketball, they have nothing left.

:D

We will certainly have our chance next year! (Hope that didn't sound too much like an Aggie).

No, you didn't say "SEC" nearly enough to sound like an Aggie... or is that Orange Aggie? We call them Aggys on sf.com.

Yes, I was referring to the orange Aggys. :)

It's hard to make fun of Orange Aggy after the way they just beat us by 20 or so in Stilly. I can at least try:

Top 10 ways to get banned at OrangePower.com:

1- Identify yourself as a Sooner
2- Express less than 100 percent support for a current coach
3- Or player.
4- Make a Dexter Manley reading joke
5- Use the phrase "left of center" and "Sutton" in the same sentence
6- Wonder outloud what the Bedlam record is in football.
7- Or basketball (or any sport other than rasslin)
8- Agree with the Olympic decision to drop wrestling in 2020
9- Suggest that the suggestion to "eat crow" after untrue predictions is just really, really Aggy
10- Remind everyone that without a missed field goal at Iowa State, the Pokes would have been undefeated and playing LSU for the national title in 2011-12.
