Headed to Russia

I heard that Sherri Coale found Snowden and the missing Patriot Super Bowl ring. U-S-A! U-S-A!

...it's still offseason forgive me

... but he isn't a guard so she's leaving him there.

Not going to be many teams that shoot 61 percent, looks like a little more defensive intensity is needed for the USA.

I still feel that the selection committee did a poor job. Too few post players, and too many guards.

I think the balance between posts, forwards, and guards is fine. What is not fine is that they had no idea of how to play together while playing against a team that has played together. This apparently led to a lot of pick and roll layups for the Russians. We simply have to learn to play together in a hurry.

The alternative is that we have to shoot a lot better than 36% from 2 and 33% from 3. Our guards were something like six for twenty-five from two. Our shooting guards were all off.

We didn't even start a center. Harberts is the tallest player who started and she is a 6'2" forward. Plaisance (6'5" center) was brought in off the bench and was the high scorer at 17 points. I would suspect she starts today.
