Just purely coincidence or random I'm sure, but I found something Lon said during Buddy's announcement kind of interesting. If I remember correctly he was talking about what Buddy coming back meant to the program and he said something like "...Buddy put it all together, not only as it relates to him, but also to the University of Flor....uhh, Oklahoma, as the uh, floor of his basketball continues to go up..."

This was still relatively early in the Thunder coaching situation, but Donovan had been mentioned quite a bit. I couldn't help but play a little conspiracy theory game where the Thunder had been in discussions with Donovan and Florida decided to reach back out to Lon to gauge his interest, resulting in a slip of thr tongue during the conference.

Again, I'm sure it is all just random/coincidence but I have to admit it popped into my head. Haha.
