Bijan Cortes, the incoming point guard from Kingfisher, scored 23 points and led his team to a road win over Carl Albert tonight. Both teams are ranked No. 1, according to the DOK, and Kingfisher is the smaller school of the two (in 4A, compared to CA being in 5A).
It sounded like he was a defensive demon in that game tonight, from what I read. I'm curious where he'll wind up being ranked in the recruiting rankings after his senior year in a couple of months. He appears to be a total recruiting steal at this point. I also know he had a 46-point game a week or so ago.
