It's probably way too early to think this, but unfortunately I get the sense this is going to be one of the nights ISU turns in an inexplicably bad performance at home in a game they should win. Seems like that has been their MO, especially coming off a big win. I already find myself rooting against bubble teams like Baylor, plus I'd prefer to see ISU win the league.

Well...not so much isu playing bad...that I've seen...(granted not watching 100%) but bu playing well.
Def rather see anyone besides ku win...sorry just the way I see it..be it ksu or isu...even tt.

Just a hard team to figure. Way too inconsistent to win the league, losing three home games in conference play is hard to fathom with their talent and that home court advantage. I think it all comes down to whether Tech can beat KU Saturday. If not, it's very tough to see any scenario in which KU doesn't get at least a share to keep the streak alive.

Bu wins...

They only have 3 Sr..1 for sure isnt playing (white guy ftom utah..hurt)
They'll be tough next yr...if everyone comes back.

Yeah ya figured they would have won this...thought Wiggins or whatever his name was made a poor decision down 4..i think. Should have driven instead of awkward 3.

You nailed it. Just when I think ISU is going to start flexing their muscles (because of their talented scorers)....they spit the bit. I will still maintain that I believe that they make the deepest run in the NCAA tourney of all the Big 12 teams this year. But times like tonight....they give me pause on that thought.

I want all teams at the top not named Kansas to win unless they are playing us. We have to get this KU streak stopped.

KU will win the league again. Nobody else wants it. It’s amazing how many times the “others” fall all over themselves to get out of KUs way. 15 years in a row. Pathetic.

I'll go a step further -- I think they will win it outright unless they lose Saturday at Tech. If they come into the KSU game next week only one game back, I think they run the table from there and KSU will drop another one somewhere along the way. I will be cheering for Tech like I have never before this weekend!

I agree. That’s the most likely outcome. If wade is really hurt, KSU could fade out very quickly.

Tech's the only team I can't pull for over KU. Don't like their coach, can't stand their fans. Their moment in the sun, such as it's been, can't end soon enough for me.

ISU does not play great D and if their 3s aren’t falling against good defense they are not great. They shot lights out at KSU, something like 58% from 3 and they took a lot of them, including very deep ones. When that happens they look like a Top 10 team when you mix in their athleticism.

It just depends on who they play as to how far they go. A good defensive team that slows it down is going to give them trouble unless they are hitting most of their 3s.

Yes and they don’t even need to win outright. I agree they must lose at Tech and even then there is a decent chance they will at least share.

Tech is a must win against ku if the streak is to end.

Here’s to hoping Iowa state turns in another inexplicably bad performance and loses at home again Monday night.

Hey, I can hope. Andy says hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things.
