It depends on how much the cap will be this summer and beyond. If there is a small jump in the cap in 2015, then a huge jump in 2016...then a max contract in 2015 is a much better deal for whatever team signs him.
I'd be shocked if he doesn't get a max offer. Is he worth it? I'm still skeptical (though he's worth more than Hayward and Parsons), but he's close enough that Chicago has to match it, especially given their window.
