This week he has had 25 points and 8 rebounds against Bradley, and followed that up with 16 points, 13 rebounds, and 7 assists against North Dakota. On the year he is averaging 15 points and 9 rebounds per game, and at 6'7'' shoots over 40% from the 3pt line.

The problem with Gilstrap is he may be a one year guy... He lost a year of eligibility and is going to petition to have a second year at ISU, but he is classified as a senior. I am sure this contributed to him being fairly lightly recruited despite being the best juco player in the country last year.

yeah he's good. and yes, a ton of teams didn't pursue him due to him only having one year to play.

isu should have picked up a juco point. christopherson, garrett and colvin aren't good enough and will keep them from capitalizing on all frontcourt talent.
