Stroke of luck or pure genius?

The Clips wouldnt be near the success they are at the moment without Crawford. He's energized the team, taken scoring pressure off of the starters so they could focus on their defense, and just generally turned this group even further toward the winning side of things.

LOVE watching him play . . . as do most LA fans apparently.

Not to mention the fact that they bring Crawford, Bledsoe, Chauncey et al off the bench. amazing.

Chauncey doesn't start anymore?

Agreed on Crawford. Perfect fit for him to be on a team whose coach is a player. (Paul)

Well he's still not back just like Hill. Vinny is going to have some interesting choices to make.

The last couple of nights have been the first chance to see LAC in a bit. Odom looks like a totally different player. It looks like he's getting back into shape. If he could get back to snuff that would be another added asset for them.

It's still a long way to go but they look likem they could go as far as they want. Especially if Jordan keeps developing an offensive game.

Right, but when healthy Chauncey has started every game I've seen him play for them.

When Billups comes back Willie Green goes out of the starting lineup to the bench. Not much of a decision to make.

Grant Hill will be insurance for Matt Barnes or Odoms play dropping off with the 2nd unit and will spell Caron Butler for defensive reasons with the 1st unit on occasion.

At this point there is no doubt the Clips have the best roster in the West. No weakness or hole.

I wasn't aware that he'd played this year. Last year he started and I see no reason why he wouldn't this year. That backup spot will be awfully crowded.

One thing Crawford has always been able to do is score. I've always liked his game and thought he was an underrated player.

I think one of the things I like most about the Clips is that with all the talent they have it seems these guys still have really good chemistry. When the second team guys step on the court the first teamers cheer them on like a bunch of giddy teenagers.

You listen to CP3 talk about Bledsoe and Barnes and Jamaal et al and he says "when the second team comes on they usually catch us back up if we're behind or increase the lead if we're ahead."

Of course - winning is a salve that cures all, but it really seems genuine. Like someone mentioned above Odom has done a complete 180 from the meltdown he had in Dallas. He's almost like the old Odom again (just in not as good shape yet) ... and they're getting EXCELLENT play out of Ronny Turiaf. He's been like a glue for them a la Collison does for OKC.

I am sure Vinny will screw it up somehow or I will have jinxed tonight's Utah game by saying something - but their first teams' defensive improvement has really elevated their game overall. They're the real deal.

My thoughts exactly. They are on a 16-game win streak, and have a +10 point differential. That is outrageous.

I'll give Del Negro credit: He knows how to manage egos. With that being said, it's hard to have faith in an incompetent coach taking a team to the Finals. But as far as rosters are concerned, the Clips are the best in the conference at this juncture.
