James Anderson going pro

why ? what more does this kid need to prove at the college level. their team aint going to be that much better next year then this.

I wish he would have gone out on a more high note, but I'm really happy for James Anderson.

He's right there with Adrian Peterson and Desmond Mason as my all-time favorite OSU players.

I just love guys who have that type of talent but are soft-spoken, hard-working "team-first" guys.

Najera and Hollis Price are a couple of OU players who were cut from that same mold.

er, Adrian Peterson's one of my favorites, too, though I don't recall him playing for oswho.

He is referring to the Adrian Peterson who played for OSU in the late 90's. Really good player who got hurt in the pre draft workouts and never got drafted. Also from Arkansas if I'm not mistaken.

Well, since you didn't put in smiley, I can't tell if you're joking or not.

I'm referring to the All Big 12 shooting guard Adrian Peterson who played for OSU from 1996-1999.

He has proven himself at osu,why not go pro.Unlike other players I know..Go Sooners!!!!!

I wish I could claim it was sarcasm, but I cannot tell a lie: My feeble memory let me down.

Give me a sec while I wipe this egg off my face.

There sure have been a lot of Adrian Petersons in collegiate sports in recent years.

Don't feel bad dude, it threw me also :ez-roll:

He will have a good pro career. He is athletic, has size, and is very skilled. I think any team can use a guy like that.

Too bad Willie did not watch James Anderson and see what can happen, when an elite guard puts the team first.

I must admit, I had forgotten about osu's AP as well. Dang good player though.

I gotta say this is one of the really great things about this messageboard--we often get fans from other schools that just EXPECT us to know a good deal about THEIR past as well--speaks to the knowledge and the openness of OUHOOPS.

also, can't say enough good things about Mr. Anderson. Just a professional in all aspects (not just 'he's gonna be a pro' use of the word). I wish him nothing but the best.

How can you forget him? Dude was a sharp shooter on some very good OSU teams.

I was actually wishing he'd come back. Fun watching him play. Wish him luck.
