I know that someone posted about Grant's Kid, but what about Skeeter's Kid. I think that I have read that he is good and has great upside, but maybe has an attitude? I originally did not want him when Capel was here because of the attitude issues that you read about (I just did not think Capel could handle), but with Kruger here I think these things can be worked out. What are the prevailing thoughts about him?

Jarion Henry or Josh Richardson?

I saw Richardson against Memorial in the Regional’s and he had some attitude to me and at the time did not think that we should take him due to those actions on the court (Again with my concerns about Capel).

Do we have room for both? We have three scholarships right now, correct? I know that we want a point and big man, so to me we do not have room unless there is some other player movement. But even if the people that have been mentioned on the board do leave do we want to load up roster (aka what Capel had to do last year) or are these guys remaining quality enough to get.

What about PG? Do you all think that we can get back on Cezar Guerrero? If not who do you think we should get of the players remaining?

Jurick as the number one big man from what I read that is left. Is there anyone else?

What about the transfers that Kruger was talking to at UNLV (6'4/6'5 shooting guard)?

I read on here that Jurick may not be that great...from someone who saw him play.

We don't need him to be great, just rebound and block shots. That's what he does best.

Hoping for Sam Grooms or Jeremy Jones @PG. I've heard Grooms is a pure point with excellent defensive skills. That sounds like what we need!

I've never seen him play, but a poster who had said that he picked up fouls fast. I'm all for rebounding and blocking shots, not so much for double-bonus 10 minutes in. THAT SAID, I'd take just about anyone 6'10" or taller with legitimate D-1 potential, oh wait...we didn't recruit Ryan Spangler did we? I kid, I kid!

Capel not recruiting him is why Spangler is at Gonzaga, had nothing to do with losing seasons. If Capel had offered Spangler would've came. Pretty sure he grew up an OU fan, at least according to what others have posted.

He not only grew up an OU fan he attended some games this year as a fan even after signing with Gonzaga.

Let's tap the brakes on the Spangler-non-recruitment right now. I am of the opinion, he'll be an average college player, but will gladly eat my words if he proves me wrong.

As has been stated over and over, there weren't a TON of great teams lined up for his services...

That's pretty hard to swallow. I don't want to pile on Capel, but that is really hard to take...

I wish we would have offered sprangler, why did we not? Did Capel and them think he could not play.

Word is that if Spangler would have known what was going to transpire, he would have waited to sign until the spring to see if Krueger would have offered. He still would love to go to OU. But, obviously, it's too late now.

Its not too late... he could ask for a release and if granted he could sign with OU.
But its very unlikely that would happen. Zaga would probably want a very good reason, its possible though

if he were that big of an ou fan.. he couldve waited till spring, like t neal, d godbold and the like...

Those guys didn't get offers from Gonzaga in the early signing period. Ryan had no reason to believe that scholarship was going to come in the spring. So, he was happy with Gonzaga and who knows what they were telling him at the time. So, I assume he was happy enough with them and figured he couldn't have waited. Therefore, he signed.

He had close to triple double average in judo. I don't care what anyone says, that is a kid that can play basketball and significantly impact games. The average fan lacks the ability to notice things other than scoring. A defensive big like Renzi Stone would be huge for this current roster and Renzi wasn't a big shot blocker, he just played good basketball.
