Plays for word of god prep school, DC assault for AAU ball.

Oklahoma coach Jeff Capel made the trip from Norman to see Torian Graham."

Not exactly what event this at, Telep called it the GSK earlier. I think it is somewhere in North Carolina

Hopefully he finds some time to scout some potential spring signees to help his team next year while he's out there.

Graham's rated in the top 30 by rivals and has almost 10 power conference offers already. kansas state is also recruiting him, and being as he plays for DC Assault, he's theirs if they want him (I don't think they've lost a single DC Assault player they've offered since Delonte Hill was brought in as an assistant by Huggins).

afaik, kstate stopped recruiting graham.

the dca-kstate connection has appeared to be dead for some time, btw.

Then why are you still paying Dalonte Hill $400k+?

A quick scan of your past few classes seems to indicate Martin's been mining NY Gauchos, MoKan Spiece, and hispanic players in general for a couple years. The last DC Assault players you signed were Judge and McGruder. Any coincidence that Judge has been extremely underwhelming and that AAU program seems to have shut its doors?

lots of fans are asking why kstate is still paying hill. but, what do the fans know? martin likes him.

no, no connection between judge's performance and dca & kstate breaking up.

Wow. I had almost forgotten about Wally Judge. The only game I've seen KSU play this year was against Duke and he barely touched the floor.

I remember last year wondering why he had such a small impact after all the hype, but I hadn't seen him play much this year so I looked up his stats. The dude is 4-20 from the FT line, 20%. But I can kind of understand that since big men being poor FT shooters is common. But last week had his BEST game, his first double double and what blew me away was that he was 6-18 from the feild! How does a 6-9 guy miss 12 out of 18 shots in a game? Is he shooting all jump-shots or something? Seems like it would be quite a feat to miss that many shots close to the basket.

Anyways, his stats were just very suprising. I expected more improvement. Although I guess his FG% is up from 43% to 44% even after last game.

Exactly.

And, don't waste all your time on highly rated guys. Please have a valid backup plan that includes good serviceable talent in the event Graham chooses somebody else.

Graham plays in North Carolina.....it's right around Christmas.....Could Capel just be taking in a game while on Christmas break......
