With reports that Jeff Capel is interviewing w/Clemson and the possibility he jumps ship, let's get this guy. :clap

He's a great recruiter. He'd have a good shot at keeping TJ & Cam.

Drew supposedly talked with Clemson too. Right now he is better than Capel so he might get the job if he wants it.

Scott Drew is one of the dirtiest coaches in college basketball when it comes to recruiting.

Drew isn't going anywhere. He has absolutely no intentions of going to Clemson or anywhere else. He's merely using that as leverage for a pay raise.

since you can't respond like an adult, let me ask you a question, have you seen or heard of the NCAA investigating Baylor since Drew has been there like OU is being looked at right now? If they have please tell me.

Romulus your right. Drew cleaned up Baylors mess and has built a good program while Capel could only win with the player of year and now has no players. And he has got us in trouble again.

Since you are going to sling opinions around, I'll comment in a factual way about OSU. One coach on the Baylor staff was offered a position by OSU prior to accepting the Baylor position. But the coach refused to work with Pierre- OSU asst- due to his recruiting practices while on Brady's staff at LSU.

That still has nothing to do with the fact that Drew is dirty. That is the feeling of alot of coaches of opposing big 12 teams. How exactly do you think he can out recruit Texas and Kansas from the start when Baylor was the bottom feeder. Most teams make noise or establish themselves. Baylor was the worst team in the big 12 and just started bringing in All-Americans over tops teams out of nowhere. I am just saying its pretty obvious that Drew is dirty and some of the coaching community feels the same.

Talk about making a statement with absolutely no proof, wow. Since when has Baylor ever outrecruited Texas or Kansas? As for bringing in "All-Americans over tops teams out of nowhere," which specific players are you even talking about? The only two "All-Americans" I can think of are:

1.) Tweety Carter was a McDonalds All-American who Drew signed going into his 4th season at Baylor. The big boys passed on Carter because was short and was not super-quick. He picked Baylor over a few smaller schools.

2.) Perry Jones is the 2nd McDonalds All-American and highest ranked recruit to ever come to Baylor and this is going into Drew's 8th season at BU. Drew started recruiting Jones when he was a freshmen and not a sure thing. When the kid later blew up on the AAU scene, he stuck to his commitment with Baylor instead of getting stars in his eyes.

Who are all these All-Americans that you're referring to?

Very true.

And let's also not forget that both OSU and OU initially passed on who might have been the best player on Baylor's team this year - Udoh - when he was right in the back yard.

I know that they both tried to get him when he was going to leave Michigan, but both OU and especially OSU screwed up badly on that one.

Yeah, I totally read his entire post in the Billy Mays voice. It makes the whole post awesome.

The thing that makes me suspicious about Drew is the fact that other coaches have complained about him publically. That seems very unusual to me.
