Watching the show @PHEEsespieces and Joyner Holmes put on at @PBRhoops Heart of Texas was a beautiful thing to see.

I get the rankings/opinion game.Chiney or Odyssey etc. But Joyner Holmes may be best pro prospect in 2016. Female LeBron like ability/size.

This is interesting because of where she is from. OU has recruited fairly successfully for women's basketball in the northern suburbs of DFW. But, I don't remember anyone from the southern suburbs.

The football team, which had few people from the southern suburbs, has Marcus Green and Adam Shead from Cedar Hill, Vontre McQuinnie from DeSoto(Lancaster?), and Quenton Hayes and Dakota Austin from Lancaster. There are some recent graduates from the Lancaster/DeSoto area: Hurst, Jackson, etc. I don't know if the rapport established with the area due to recruiting football players will carry over. But, this is a good area for basketball.

UConn has a point from Glenn Heights which is a "suburb" of DeSoto, next to Lancaster and Cedar Hill. I would love to see this area become more of a pipeline to OU.
