The title to this thread says it all for me. we didn't and haven't played perfect this year, but we just don't shoot the ball well enough to be as consistent as we need to be or to beat really good teams.
Kind of odd too, if you look at the form and history of the players, and look at the shots they are taking (mostly good for them, especially considering shot clock), you would think we would shoot better.
For example, at times JB looks like he couldn't miss those little lane floaters he often gets, but last night he had a number of them and missed all of them I believe. He was mostly open on those shots, he got touch on them, but didn't connect.
This has to be how most teams and their fans felt in Buddy's last two years, as the sooners outshot everyone. Must be driving Lon crazy. Team plays well enough to win most nights but can't put the ball in the hole.
This may explain the Phipps schollie.
