Due to injuries, KSU is down to 7 players, 6 scholarship and one walkon. From a post on HoopScoop from a KSU fan:

Ashia Woods and Ashlyn Knoll who played alot at 4 & 5 were both lost to season ending injuries on Monday, an ACL and Achilies Tendon tear.. We were already both short and short handed but now it is getting much worse. BTW one other player with size has not been suiting up and we don't know the reason for that one. She is Stacey Malone. If I had any sense I would have gone to the pick-um thread and switched to the Cowgirls, But I don't have sense. A Long season just got longer. Or maybe shorter.

FIRE DEB!!! Why can't she have 15 scholarship players???

They had one more go down with 2 minutes left in the game. She had to be assisted to the locker room. Hopefully she'll be back for the next game, but they finished with 6 (5 scholarship) healthy players.

KSU made 16 shots from 3 point land, 7 shots from inside the arc.

Coaches winning with six, seven, and eight players? And, you want to know who is doing the best job of coaching?

With all due respect, I think tonight's KSU win was more about emotion on one team and lack of it on the other than about coaching on either side.

Winning with a limited number of players doesn't necessarily reflect good coaching.

Down to 7.....been there done that. Let's see if they can make to Elite 8 like we did!!!

Somebody pull your chain?

You need to chill, got mulk?? has been an excellent poster on this board and has shown great respect for the Sooners in spite of being a Baylor fan. I for one enjoy gotmulk's insight to the Baylor program and am glad shares with us on our board. Got mulk?? is always welcome on this board. I can't say the same for some other Baylor Fans though.

You see it your way I see it mine. I do not need you to tell me when to "chill". I don't like Baylor, I don't like Mulkey, and I don't like Griner. They may all be wonderful people but I don't like them as they are. I don't like TU either. There is an ignore button which you are privileged to use.

I tend to agree with this. I have no problem with got mulk (or Scamp on other boards). Although I think Mulkey should be banned from coaching amateur athletics, and I still reject the lack of punishment for the behavior of Baylor players, I don't see got mulk or Scamp as a part of that problem, other than that they probably don't detest Kim.

I feel slightly bad for Pokette losing to them, as they were on the verge of their program's highest ranking ever (#10 during the Riley era I think, #12 right now).

BUT, now we can worry less about our own KSU matchup... and place all of our worry on how much we will lose to Baylor by. Dooooom DOOOOOOOM

(but after we win, omg)

We are exactly on the same page.

Deb Patterson has had a history of running off players as if having injuries wasn't enough.
