His name crossed my mind during the coaching search but he doesn't have any region ties that i know of. How do you think he will do at Miami?

Yep. Sixty two years old, goes from a stable mid-major to one of the worst major conference jobs after turning down several better programs. Has to be prepping for his eventual retirement.

I agree.

Reminds me of Spoonhour and Massimino taking the UNLV job. Both retired after their time in Vegas and neither really did a great job.

And, even though I thought the Fraschilla hiring (to OU) was kind of exciting because of his name, this same thought about him crossed my mind. One last chance to get a big paycheck before riding off into the sunset. Glad we got who we got.
