I'm very concerned about Lauren going to Texas. They are recruiting like crazy and they will undoubtedly make Cox a prime target.

Cox is a special talent, Paris was the last number 1 player to commit to OU. It could be a challenge getting her, but she wants to stay in the big 12 and has been to Ou a few times, all good signs.

I know OU VB is hitting Texas hard. 2014 commits. All 4 from Texas. Alyssa Enneking, Emma Kelly, Kimmy Gardiner(Transfer-MissSt) all freshman team in the SEC , Marion Hazelwood( enrolled in Jan).

At Texas' home game vs Kansas State both Lauren Cox and Nancy Mulkey were in attendance, as was 2015 post Ashley Hearn, Texas is trying to sure up there front court with the next 2 classes. Though I wasn't impressed from the few videos I've seen people are calling Atkins a game changer. Cox spent some of her summer at the Duke summer camp, maybe she's open to leaving the big 12 now.

Ariel Atkins type player comes along once every 10 years! She has hands as quick as a boy and can jump through the roof. Brooke M. and Ariel will turn Texas into a contender--maybe not their freshman season but 3 years after that. Those two girls are incredible. Brooke M. gives Texas a PG that they haven't had in many years. She is very small but she can dish, shoot and even guard bigger guards. After next year--Texas will probably be the team to beat.

IF Texas gets Hearn, Mulkey, and Cox, it is very possible they will be the team to beat in the next few years and I'm not just talking about the conference.

If OU gets L Cox. It might lead to a pipeline. Whitney(2019)(5-10) and Madison(2023). They say Madison puts on a 3pt show. Whitney just had 2 college coaches at her game.

I have not heard that she has released a list of favorites. I just keep hoping we can sign her although I know our chances are probably not good.

In her twitter account picture she is wearing an OU t-shirt. She has tweeted from Norman before games....we are clearly in the running but so are several other teams.

I think a win tonight on national TV might improve our chances with Cox and some others we are recruiting. There is no one I want more than Cox.
