Team chemistry is so important. These players are around each other every day. They practice together, eat together, socialize together, etc. One bad apple can split a team apart (e.g. TMG). Vetting a player for how they would "fit in" is part of the recruiting process.

I'm not implying anything about Brian Bowen..... I think Oregon was his second choice. We weren't even involved in his recruitment.
