Payton Pritchard is the latest commitment for Lon and the men's team. His freshman sister is now followed by Pam. Looks like she has potential and will be a young player to follow.

Lisa Griffith (Lexie's aunt and coach) played basketball at the University of Arizona and later was an assistant coach at the University of Pittsburgh then as an assistant at the University of Arizona so Lexie is probably getting good coaching.

Lisa's stats when she played at Arizona:

She holds the career records for three-point field goals made (285) and attempted (747), and ranks second in three-point field goal percentage (.382), third in both games played (122) and games started (110), fourth in steals (225) and minutes played (3,627), sixth in minutes per game average (29.7), seventh in assists (455) and 10th in scoring (1,199).

A four-time honorable mention All-Pac-10 pick, Griffith still holds the Pac-10 records for three-pointers in a career (212) and a season (92) in conference play.

Lexie is getting some attention and she is still young. Could be a good one in a year or two.

I believe that I read that Payton had left the OU team and was transferring. I wonder what effect that that will have on our recruitment of his kid sister?

He hasn't graduated from high school yet. He was committed to OU for a few months (his Dad was OU football player and Mom was OU gymnast and also has family in Oklahoma). He de-committed and has now committed to Oregon as some on the men's board have said he wanted to go with his girlfriend to Oregon. Also, some on men's board have indicated that Payton's Dad had left a bad taste in coaching staff's mouth the way he's handle the recruitment of Payton so, at this point, I'd be shocked if Lexie left the Pacific NW, much less would venture off to Oklahoma.

Her dad graduated a year ahead of me from Moore. That's was back when only one HS was in Moore.

I really doubt that Peyton's commitment to Oregon will have a huge affect on where Lexie goes to school.
