I like Al quite a bit. Always willing to talk OU basketball and not afraid to say what is on his mind.

Thanks for letting us know...I'm sure LK is trying to drum up some interest for the reunion on Saturday.

Mookie is coming back for those that didn't know.

Here are some brief notes I took from the interview:

* On the Alumni game Saturday, he said just about everyone from the '88 team will be back — King, Grace, Mookie, Harvey Grant and possibly Dave Sieger. Blake Griffin can't make it. Doing a KIA commercial in LA.

* There will be another photo poster taken with players/fans/students after Alumni game.

* Cousins wasn't in Norman early this summer, because in New York the high schools don't get out until the middle of July (or maybe he said June). Said Cousins is a true point guard. Played combo in high school because of his size.

* Loves Ryan Spangler's approach and maturity. Works hard, has passion for playing at OU and will be a leader.

* M'Baye's got passion and a big motor. Will be a tough matchup. Said he's most comfortable in the "wide post-up area" but has worked hard on his perimeter skills.

* Said Cam Clark "changed his shot up a little bit and has shot it better this summer".

* Waiting on All-College to finalize opponent before announcing schedule.

* Alumni game at noon on Saturday is free to the fans.

I didn't listen to the interview, but its middle of June on the NY schools/Cousins note. Cousins got on campus for the July session of summer school.
