Missouri athletic director Mike Alden told the Tribune an internal review found no improper influence by Coolley,

Yea my grandma also thinks I'm the best person ever lol

I wonder how Sawyer will spin it. "No way did the team know that the guy they got their free speakers from (in exchange for free tickets) was dealing cocaine out of the hotel room across the hall."

A Missouri men's basketball fan who regularly traveled with the team to NCAA tournament games is among 10 people facing federal drug conspiracy charges.

The Columbia Daily Tribune reports that Levi Coolley was on the team plane on four tournament trips from 2009 to 2011. Coolley also joined a team flight from Austin, Texas, in January and received complimentary tickets from Missouri players at nine games over two seasons.

In March, FBI agents arrested Coolley on felony cocaine distribution charges at the Missouri team hotel in Omaha, Neb., before their most recent tournament appearance.

Missouri athletic director Mike Alden told the Tribune an internal review found no improper influence by Coolley, a car stereo shop owner who accompanied prominent Missouri donor Jay Lindner on the flights. Lindner says the two share a love of Tiger sports.

This is great.
Yea, hilarious.

I know a lot of college teams/athletes that are connected/have their drug hook up. But rarely have I seen them on the team flights and team hotels, lol. And the fact he got free tickets and runs a car stereo shop is awesome. Hmm, maybe we should take a look at the players stereo systems and ask them how much they paid.

Oh nice, there is a new, mind-boggling quote:

"We conducted a review, and we were comfortable with the results," said spokesman Chad Moller. "It's very concerning, and very troubling to hear that people who come around your program be accused of this type of thing. At a basic level, you try to trust that people are doing the right thing. But it's impossible to know the background of everybody."
HAHA!

So Tony Montana was hanging out with the Mizzou basketball team and flying to tourneys with them, but they had absolutely no idea he was involved in anything shady?

There's not really anything here to spin.

Perhaps when there's a legitimate accusation or suggestion of wrongdoing by anyone at MU, I'll make an attempt then.
