Lon Kruger vs. Bill Self for Trae Young [Photo]

I wish I could the find the article I read a few weeks ago....it was like an hour read...and it would blow you away when you really start to digest the problems they've had going back a decade.

Is this the article you're talking about?

The recent scandals involving the KU basketball program should be all an objective person would need to convince them that there is something seriously wrong in Larryville. Here's a recap from what most would see as an unbiased source in Yahoo Sports. The author of this article spells out in detail what dozens of other news sources have confirmed. He just takes it a step further by urging KU officials to avoid the mistakes Baylor made.

:woot quality post. And my condolences for living around all those jayhawks

I live directly in between Lawerance and Manhattan and id cheer for the jayhawks any day over kstate. Kstate fans are far worse in my opinion.

I read it all and even did research on the majority of what was discussed in an effort to fact check... I am completely shocked/confused.

How has the hammer not been brought down on this program...

"I’m not ready for this thing to be over with, but, at the same time, I’m kind of sad too because we really care for all these schools that have been putting in their time recruiting him. It’s gonna be a bittersweet day when we have to tell a couple of those schools no.”

quote from Trae or his dad? lol...

in football yes...I actually went to ksu in the early 80's for a couple of years. Now days they just can't stand OU fball...they always bring up we stole their coaches...I always bring up they wanted to coach at a winning program.

I have a lot of friends who are KSU alums. They are far more tolerable than KU fans. At least here in KC it's that way. I live in Brookside so I have quite a few KU fans around me. We previously lived in Liberty for about 12 years and we had a bunch of KSU neighbors there.

lol, Booger...funny.

We need to form a watch group with the OU fans here from the kc area. Wife lives in Gladstone, teaches at the Early Childhood center in Liberty, her kids go to St James and St pius HS.

Watched many OU games at The Brooksider, went to lots of band there...before they shut down and reopened.

Small world.

Both groups can be obnoxious....I actually was at the OU KSU game in the 90's, first time ksu beat ou in years...met Switzer at a bar (his kid was a walk-on) The ksu fans (good friends) couldn't believe OU was still ranked higher than ksu after they beat us. Well, that started the 90's slide. 88 was a chit year as well. Funny, the ku fans don't even care about fball...

So you live in Gladstone? The Early Childhood Center was maybe a mile from my house. St James was close too. My daughter is now at St Peters, in Brookside. Hopefully headed to St Teresa's in 2 years, maybe Bishop Miege. We aren't catholic though.

well, I live in OP, we got married in Jan, I'll move up this summer.
Wife lives by Penguin Park..kind of. Can't think of the sub-division. Meige is a good school. Is she an athlete? I coached at Bishop Ward yrs ago, girls bball, we always played St Theresa's tough, good school as well.

Her son is a 5th grader playing the Parochial league..got to love those Catholics...cut throat! lol, (yeah I'm born and bred Catholic so I know!)
