My guess is he wanted to go to Duke. Since Quin Cook has committed to Duke, Kabongo recommitted to UT.

not that it matters now .. but Irving is most likely 1 and done and rivers is not a point guard

Well, Quin Cook, another elite guard committed to Duke so it doesn't matter because Kabongo recommitted to UT. However, I think it helps OU with the Likes of Reese and LJ Rose.
