Been some early high expectations for Los & Javian. Hopefully it pans out & Hughley can get back to form.

Los is already a good player. He needs to make a leap to get to 2nd round pick projections, but he's a quality player even if he didn't improve at all since the Big XII tourney. Bigger question marks surround the other two.

If OU has 2 pros in the backcourt then this will be a really good year. The other guards might have some question marks on offense, but we know they will play defense.

We need the nba to stay away from Norman for a few seasons. We need 2 more seasons of Los, then he can go lottery!

Offensively, McCollum will be exciting. I wonder how his defense will hold up against the big wings and strong lead guards in the league.

One of the best draft analysts out there, has a recurring pod with Sam Vecenie who does all of the Athletic NBA Mock Drafts.

If Milos wants to make a big jump in the scoring column, he's going to have to get to the line more in addition to upping his usage rate. He played 32 minutes a game in big 12 games, and he shot 23 total free throws in conference. With the ball in his hands as much as it was those last 12 games or so, he should have been averaging 3-4 free throws/game.

Javian McCollum shot 118 last year. Los shot 34. Maybe we can get him some Austin Reaves tape? Austin shot 165 and 170 in his two years at OU.

Well hopefully he isn't that good so he won't go pro.

This got me excited!! So pumped to watch Los go to work! Really hope he has a good to great year and stays or his Junior season. Our length 1-3 guards will be fun to watch.

When I previously watched McCollum, I thought he looked really impressive early in the season in games like Ole Miss. They weren't a very good team, but they had some good athletes. He didn't seem to be moving as well later in the season. I'd heard reports of him playing through injury, so that makes sense.

I also think he's more athletic than that twitter post alludes to. Maybe not a JUMP athlete, but he's very quick and has great change of direction and balance.

Agreed. He has some question marks, and I'll wait to see him in the Big XII before calling him a first-rounder, but his quickness looks elite on early season highlights. This should be one of the better OU crossovers in recent memory.
