Dan Gavitt told CBS Sports they may release a 2020 bracket. If so, this may help resolve those issues with coaches that would earn a bonus for making the tournament, and how they allocate TV dollars to schools and conferences.
It would be a decision that could mean hundreds of thousands of dollars to coaches and millions to conferences and institutions.
