The Owasso girls fell short in their bid for try for the program's first state title since 1990 when they lost to Midwest City 45-40 in the 6A girls final.

The Rams hit only 1-of-17 3-point attempts in the loss. Owasso's Jordan Kunka hit 9-of-10 free throws, and Rachel Skalnik scored 13 before fouling out with 4:03 to play.

By the way, I think we should have offered China Fair a scholarship no matter her BB skills. With a name like that she is already half way to making all American.

Heck of a run for Owasso. They will have a great chance to be back next year with their trio of Juniors to be and some more good young talent coming into their program.
