Midwest City 60, Broken Arrow 50: Chinna Fair scored a game-high 18 points and the Bombers as they upset the top-ranked team in 6A Wednesday evening in the first semifinal game.

The Tigers (6-1) struggled from the field — shooting just 31 percent (15 of 48) for the game — but tied it twice in the second half before Midwest City made eight consecutive free throws in a game-ending 11-2 run.

Fair had 11 in the second quarter alone as Midwest City closed on a 9-0 flurry to lead 33-23 at intermission.

BA score the first 10 points of the third quarter to tie the game, then got an Alexis Gaulden’s 3-pointer with 5:55 remaining to even the score at 44.

But the Tigers could never gain control as Gaulden and Aysia Evans were held to 4-of-20 shooting for the night.

Darian Jackson led BA with 16 points. Jalise Smallwood added 14 points and 12 rebounds.

Broken Arrow (6-1): Jackson 16, Smallwood 14, Gaulden 8, Evans 8, Cuellar 2.

Midwest City (7-1): Fair 18, Davis 14, Burkhalter 8, Smith 8, Reeves 7, Burley 5.
