If you were to pick a MVP on the team right now, who would it be?

My vote is for Gabbi

That is not a bad pick at all. If she had a better assist to turnover ratio, I think just about everyone would agree with you. Since the coaches don't seem to be concerned with turnovers, I question whether it is even fair to hold Gabbi accountable for having more turnovers when she seems to be doing what the coaches are asking her to do. I think she may be the only starter on the team who is scoring about what we expected she would as a freshman. She is rebounding at a higher rate than was expected. I also am surprised she is leading the team in minutes played. She is shooting 35% from BTA which is good. Her field goal percentage is a bit low at 33% but I think that will improve over the next 10 games.

While I give the nod to Sharane, Ortiz certainly has to be in the conversation.

Id Go with Sharane or Kornet, when they are playing well, We are a Different team.

I would go with Nicole, to me she has been the most consistent and solid player the first 11 games.

KORNET................She gets everybody energized when she is in there....I feel more "comfortable" when she is in the game.

I would go with Gabbi for now … if only because I like to know what I'm getting from a player.
Seems like we're still in role development and guys are inconsistent with what they provide to the game. I'm uncomfortable with the "Dow Jones" (up/down) nature of some of our players. Tonight, player A will get 15 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists … tomorrow, player A gets 2 points, 1 rebound, 5 turnovers in 12 minutes played. Hard for a team to move without that consistent hub.

Turnovers are a concern, but I feel like Gabbi's growing and becoming a leader and one's who role will continue to expand and solidify on this team. I'm unsure about the rest of the roster.

I'm betting if the vote was taken today, Carter would get some votes.

to date, gabbi....she has played well when no one else was...defending, rebounding, making shots, energy........

I am surprised that there have been a couple of games that Sharane just did not seem to be involved......no energy. I do not expect to see that from her now that conference has started, actually am surprised it happened but guess that goes with being human.

Kornet is competitive when she is in.

Love Carter's play but don't see her as the mvp to date. Think she may well be after a few more games, definitely was Sunday.

But, for now, still sticking with Gabbi when looking at games played.
