1. We need to stop the ball. The dribbler is constantly taking the rebound
and getting all the way to the basket. Also in the halfcourt the dribbler
is constantly blowing by his man. This is unexceptable with the 4 guard
lineup. We have no one to protect the rim.

2. Where's our running game? With this lineup we should be RUNNING,
RUNNING, and RUNNING. Right now we're just as likely to turn it over
on the break as score.

3. We are way too one-on-one on offense. Repeatedly our offense is
one guy trying to break down his man and everyone else standing
around.

4. Our offense needs to run through Tiny Gallon. Good things happen
when he has the ball. He's a good passer and is a mismatch for pretty
much anyone who guards him on the block.

5. Where's Ray Willis? Is he so far behind now that we can't even get him
in there for some depth?

All this being said, I believe that we'll work it out. We have way too much talent to not make the tournament. Remember, 3 of our main guys are true freshman. We are gonna struggle against long, athletic teams. We just are.
We don't have the inside presence to slow down Texas or Kansas. That's okay. Lot's of teams don't, but we have to find and identity. It seems like the team has no idea what they want to accomplish and the goals seem to change every trip down the floor. Looking forward to Big 12 play. We've played a pretty tough non-conference schedule. UTEP looked VERY good. I'm surprised they've lost any games at this point.

The argument could be made that UTEP should be undefeated; they had 12 point leads late against the two teams they lost to. I was pretty impressed with them.

I was too. Definitely the best team we have played this year.

It wouldn't matter if they were the "Little Sisters of the Poor" We couldnt defend them.

They have size and athleticism. I don't think they will shoot that well all year long, but they sure shot the lights out of it tonight. I don't think they're as much better than us as they looked though. Disappointing performance.

You have to get stops to run.

Can't rebound the ball when the other team doesn't miss.

We are trying to run too much that we don't bother to rebound.

I actually think we're doing a pretty good job rebounding (especially Tony and Cade) but we were totally outmanned tonight in the length and athleticism department.
