How was that Marshall ball? I thought it was pretty clear that it was still in the Marshall player's hand after the WSU player hit the ball.
WSU should have had the ball down 3 with 35+ seconds left to play. Game changing call.
yep.
Basketball (both NCAA and NBA) need to really review how they manage these replays. Way to many blown calls after replay
Basketball is the hardest game to officiate (IMO) - especially any WV game. There are so many judgement calls that is is tough to be 100% consistent. Refs are humans that are impacted by crowd noise, flow of the game and so many other factors.
The block/charge in real time is tough. Hand check or the dribbler's use of the off arm are subjective. I understand missing those or the refs having a different opinion than me, a fan. The replay where they can slo-mo it was strange to me.

The solution is to call anything that is close. That way thug ball will disappear and the pure game of basketball will be back. Charge/blocking is not ever going to be called correctly every time though.
This was Texas M.O. all year.....they blew a ton of games when they had either double-digit leads or late leads. It could be worse....we could have Shaka as our coach.
And Eric Mussellman (Nevada coach) dropping some nice F-bombs in the locker room live....lulz.
