Wichita State vs Marshall's been a real fun game.

If the refs weren’t trying to prop up Marshall, Wichita st would already have the game won.

How was that Marshall ball? I thought it was pretty clear that it was still in the Marshall player's hand after the WSU player hit the ball.

WSU should have had the ball down 3 with 35+ seconds left to play. Game changing call.

yep.

Basketball (both NCAA and NBA) need to really review how they manage these replays. Way to many blown calls after replay

Marshall's got this one in the bag. WSU's offense just didn't execute at the end

refs Influenced the game. WSU was screwed over. Wha a joke.

Basketball is the hardest game to officiate (IMO) - especially any WV game. There are so many judgement calls that is is tough to be 100% consistent. Refs are humans that are impacted by crowd noise, flow of the game and so many other factors.

The block/charge in real time is tough. Hand check or the dribbler's use of the off arm are subjective. I understand missing those or the refs having a different opinion than me, a fan. The replay where they can slo-mo it was strange to me.

The solution is to call anything that is close. That way thug ball will disappear and the pure game of basketball will be back. Charge/blocking is not ever going to be called correctly every time though.

According to WSU and their fans, every game they lose is because of the refs. That game was not determined by the officials. Marshall outplayed them for 30 minutes of that game.

Also, Gregg Marshall has made it past the first weekend twice in his coaching career. This team had lots of talent and as much experience as any team in the country, and they won two games all year against tourney teams. Let's stop acting like he is some coaching genius.

You also have refs that like attention and make it about themselves.

The subjective nature of the refs influence is the worst part of the game. It ruins the game actually.

I would like to see WVU games called like the women's game was called today. :)

Nevada turned it around when they decided to go at him

Both Texas guards crushed their career highs but Nevada didn’t miss a FG in OT

This was Texas M.O. all year.....they blew a ton of games when they had either double-digit leads or late leads. It could be worse....we could have Shaka as our coach.:D

And Eric Mussellman (Nevada coach) dropping some nice F-bombs in the locker room live....lulz.

Sounds just like OU.
