And everyone claimed our non-con was murderers row.

Of the teams ranked ahead of us according to kenpom, only Duke, Kansas, & Florida St habe played a more difficult schedule than OU so far. To be sitting at 6-1 is outstanding.

Here is a site run by Bart Torvik....called T-Rank. If you're a stats hound, it is every bit as good as Kenpom....and it's free. It has detailed analytics and his rankings which are updated daily. Currently, he has OU as #8 seed.

Today (Friday), the NCAA Men's Basketball NET Rankings (linked above) have Oklahoma at #22 and Notre Dame at #28. The early season game at Madison Square Garden looks to be very important to those rankings.

Oklahoma's only loss so far is tho #6 ranked Wisconsin.

Oklahoma's Best Wins So Far
#47 Dayton
#57 Florida
#84 North Texas
#92 Wofford

I was looking at our upcoming schedule. It does look rough. I’m excited about our squad so far.

Wichita state spanked baylor tonight.

I hope OU can beat ND and WSU. We need to get better and go 3-2 over the next 5.

3-2 over the next 5 would be good......I hope we do that well.

I’m thinking you might not have watched that whole WSU game. What was once a 33 point Shocker lead evaporated to 5 with about 4 minutes to go. It was pretty much watching 2 games for the price of 1.

Based on this, we should hopefully go no worse than 10-3 OOC, and hopefully can hold serve at home in conference play and maybe sweep the likes of Baylor, OSU, and maybe West Virginia.

Not to nitpick, but WSU was considered a home game this season because it was run by OU. Probably won't matter in the long run since WSU is unlikely to have a good enough season to help us much either way. I think some of the noncon teams have a chance to improve their rankings, which would only help us. ND is young and should get better as the season progresses, and Dayton figures to win a lot of games. Would be nice if Florida could get things together.

That's why I have the question mark for both the WSU and USC games. They are neutral in the sense that they were not played on anyone's home campus.
