Glad she picked OU. We need a good 2018 class. Ten players will be gone after next year. The only ones left will be Penzo, Rich, EJ, Mulkey, And Dungee. We have 3 coming in so far from the 2017 class plus Murcer in 2018. Need at least 3 more quality players,

I had Jessi in Pre AP Biology 2 years ago at WHS. She is a quality person from a quality family. Her mother was an All-State and Super 5 player at Del City with Etta Maytubby in 92. Of course her great uncle was Bobby Murcer. So, she has the bloodline of outstanding athletes. I have recently retired from education after 39 yrs. My first wife was an All-State player in the early 70s. My first father-in-law is in the Oklahoma Girls coaches hall of fame. I've been watching girls bball since the 6 on 6 days when the powers were Elk City, Mangum, Okeene, Fairview, Lindsay, etc. I have seen a lot of girls bball through the years. I've told this to many people, Jessi has the highest basketball IQ I've ever seen in a girl. She does things with a basketball you just don't expect a girl to do. And on top of all, she absolutely loves OU and Sherri Coale. She and I have been talking about her interest in OU since she first set foot in my classroom.

She reminds me a little bit of KSU's Lori Kane, except a better version. Quick release, can create space, and not just an outside shooter. Really excited to see her in the Crimson and Cream.

Depending on if Murcer is a point guard shooting guard or combo guard this could mean OU is out of the running for Veitenheimer or one of the other guards we were looking at...

It's a little puzzling that none of the top kids in Texas are considering OU.
