Payton Pritchard is #53 .. he didn't move up .. feels a little low for him

Kristian Doolittle is #62 and a 4 star ..

as for the guys we are recruiting (hopefully lead on)

Kameron McGusty is now #40 in the country

Joey Brunk is # 63 in the country ..

Shamorie Ponds is #67 in the country ..

any one want to say Kruger is not recruiting well??

I didn't realize Doolittle was ranked that high. Good deal. The rankings will change a lot after AAU ball this summer.

I do hope OU lands 1 or 2 of those prospects to go along with the 2 commits. I would love to get McGusty.

the rankings went from top 60 to top 100 today ...

we are one of only 2 schools with 2 top 100 commits .. UVA is the other

if we were to land mcgusty and brunk and be finished .. it would be an incredible class .. likely top 10

Tough for Pritchard to move up, he doesn't have the athleticism upside of other teens in that group. Doesn't diminish him as a basketball player, but that is what the services will take into consideration.

Yeah, pretty awesome that our coaches can evaluate the talent themselves and get on it early. Doolittle was nowhere near that high, neither was McGusty. We delayed a little with him or I think he would be a part of this class already, which is too bad. Hopefully we can still reel him in.

and frankly, selfishly, I'm fine with it, as it will likely keep him more years at OU, compared to a guy with his skills and a typical NBA body.

I think we end up with Brunk and McGusty (maybe Lindy Waters III) instead of McGusty.

Ponds is no longer an option IMO.

I'm fine with it as well, in this instance. However, to reach the highest echelon of CBB, you need those elite guys that combine basketball skills with exceptional athleticism. It is what is.

That's already an excellent class with just the 2 guys.. i agree we get brunk and hopefully mcgusty

Yeah vbab or someone said slow playing mcgusty hurt us.... But lon wanted to see him break out and perform on a high level.

That's not lons fault.

Pritch seems solid but is Doolittle a solid verbal now that he has risen a ton this summer? Would love to just sign them already and then get 1-2 more of those guys as others have suggested

12 on schollie right now + Cousins, Buddy, Spangler, Dinjyl are SRs. Possibly CJ med school. Doolittle and Pritchard make 2. Can't we conceivably go after 3 maybe 4 more?

Both are ROCK solid. Payton is actively recruiting for OU. He loves big from Bishop Gorman Zack Colllins who is going to Zags, wish we couldve got him. But I know he is hard after Brunk.

Yeah I agree but dang I could Atleast see him top 35... Ya know?

Yeah, you're right. Men's basketball can have 13 players on scholarship. We're at 12 now and will lose 4 seniors.... plus Cole? I don't really know about Cole's status. He may stay. Kruger won't run him off (too good of a kid for the program) so it's his choice if he wants to go to med school or wherever.

We will have 5 scholarships available and maybe 6. Doolittle and Pritchard will take 2 of them. I bet we get a transfer or Juco player because they don't want 5 or 6 freshmen on the team in 2 years. The roster needs to be more balanced. between classes.

How accurate are the crystal ball predictions? If those are solid sounds like Mcgusty is coming and brunk is predicted to head to Butler... I really want Brunk or a solid big in this class

Usually pretty solid. Or at least the main guys.

Brunk will be hard to pull out of Indy. I think he like OU. A lot.

I'd like to get McGusty, Brunk, AND Waters...
