Curtis Wilkerson (6'7 1/2, 230) out of San Bernandino JC, CA. Are we recruiting this guy? There is an article at ouinsider that says we are. Anybody know anything about him? It is under the thread "James a Mens BB?" on the recruiting board for premium readers.

#32 in white watching the 3pt barrage.

Somebody on another thread said that we might have some coaches in California right now looking at a big man. Maybe this is the same guy?

His name is actually Curtis Wilkinson, like the OU football coach not Wilkerson like Hale reported.

Salter was committed to Auburn before Lebo was let go...now looks like he doesn't want to go to Auburn.

And for the video above, Wilkinson is #45, not 32. Looks like a strong kid to me. Would love to have him.

Since we are in the market for PG's...What is the scoop with #3 on that list Salter??? On school he lists as interested is Western Kentucky and they haven't offered yet.

I was wondering that myself.

It is amazing that there is still really good players out there, that havent committed or signed anywhere. I guess a plus to signing really late if you are a lower D1 kid, is that you can sign with a major D1 school who NEEDS you.
I love recruiting...

I'd rather have Washington, a guy who can be more productive than Wilkerson even though I don't know anytthing about him as a player. The Cali Juco system is not very good.

Chris Walker is a prime example of this. Wasn't he a juco all-star in Cali?

You are right. I was simply trying to say that Walker was a juco all-star in Cali and wasn't as good as lesser rated players in KS or OK Juco's.

I know. I didn't say it was a good thing that Walker would start on this team.

I knew where you were going...and I agree (he would start next year), and that tells you the type of team we are looking at as of now.
