Nothing gets more old than people still making fun of Nick Thompson. Give the kid a break! He gave all he had....and is light years better than any of you butt cowboys on this message board! I actually thought he was decent at times. Good passer for a big man...he was just overmatched at this level, but he's still a sooner!

Yaa, but any of us in his situation would have taken the OU offer if there. Not his fault for being here and not being up to OU standards as a forward. To blame the Kid for jumping on an opportunity to play for OU is asinine. Blame the coach that offered a low major D-1 player at best a scholarship to one of the Premier basketball programs in the Big 12

He had three or four assists that night. I remember being very impressed.

Once the first regular season game came along, the shine wore off real quick.
