Not Worried!

Why? I agree that we got closer to the bubble with the loss to TCU, but it was a road loss, and road losses are always "better" than home losses.

BUT the biggest reason I am not worried is because I think we will beat Iowa State and Kansas in the Big 12 tournament. I am excited to see what this team does in a tournament setting. I think they will rise to the occasion.

I still think this team is playing well despite what happened, and we don't need to worry about the bubble because we are going to make a run in the Big 12 tournament!

We have to realize that we have only played 27 bad minutes in the last nine games. Granted those minutes were extremely bad, but I am still optimistic.

I love the enthusiasm – and the confidence – but I have to admit I'm not quite as confident in the Sooners' "lock" status as I was before the events that unfolded this past weekend.

Like you, I still believe the Sooners are playing well, and I think what we saw in the first half at Fort Worth was an aberration. We righted the ship in the second half, but, as we all know, it was a matter of too little-too late. And, yes, we're capable of making a run in the Big XII tournament; however, playing the Cyclones in the tourney is a little more daunting than playing them at the LNC. If we get past Iowa State, I'll feel good about our chances against the Jayhawks.

Whatever happens, we should still make the NCAAs, though "lock" may not be a certainty if we exit our own tournament in the first round. It's been quite a ride so far – and I don't think it's about to come to an end.

The Big 12 is getting at least 5 teams into the NCAA tourney, possibly 6 teams. No way only 4 make it!!! OU is in, so is Iowa St. Baylor is the only team that needs the tourney to fight to get into the big dance.

Plus, I think there will be some pressure on the NCAA to put OU in on the fact that there is some publicity to be had for Kruger. Being the 1st coach to ever get 5 different teams into the tourney!!!
