It was a great article.

On a night when KU won a triple OT game, it's great that this and most articles are about Hield: from his 46 points, to his post-game interview with SVP and quick chat with Vitale, to the standing ovation from the opposing team's crowd, to the fact that he stayed well after the game to sign autographs on the opposing team's court. It can't be stated enough how special he is to this team and season.

I'm just glad the rest of the country is getting to see what a lot of us have known for a few years. And as good as Buddy is on the court, I think it's his personality that will win over a lot of fans by the end of the season. He's just so joyful out there.

If he can keep up his current pace, he's going to play his way into the lottery. I have never seen a player make this much improvement from their junior to senior years. Not even close.
