46-42 OSU 14:13 in the second half..........thought OSU would be further ahead

looks like this game could still be won by either team

TCU came back to win.

Really? And TECH beat TCU handily and OSU beat TECH with ease. Granted Tech and OSU both won those games at home. Well, this game was at TCU and it was close, but still surprised and disappointed. If not OU, then OSU and then Nebraksa. (know Neb not still in our conference)

Guess with conference play we will not only begin to see teams come together but also see which teams were ranked because they only played one or two good teams.

I just don't think some teams have enough in the tank to win on the road. We have beaten two teams, one of which may be as good as about fourth in the conference. The other will probably be last or next to it. Yet, I'm not sure how many teams can beat Tech in Lubbock. I suspect that at least three teams will beat TCU in Fort Worth, maybe five.

Meaning enough players off the bench to win on the road, because I really
had not thought about needing your bench more on the road but that is a good point. (and, if you were making a different point, still that makes sense too :) )

That wasn't the intended point, but it works. Sherri did say that we tired Kansas out with our depth and would likely do the same to Tech. But, what I really intended to mean was that the non-conference schedules of some teams had left them somewhat empty of legitimate experience. It had also made it appear that they were better than they were. They don't have what it takes to win on the road in the Big Twelve.

Okay, got it. Your post just made me think about being on the road and not having a deep bench, which I had never thought of. Anyway, so far so good as far as our experience both on the road AND against tough
teams on the road.

It will be interesting to see how many players Sherri plays against Texas. I doubt she uses more than 9 but, we'll see.

I kind of think we will see all three posts, LaNecia, Kornett and Tona...so 10 minimum? It should be a fun game.
