Just sort of teasing. Martin has been playing very well this year.

They won 77-67. North Carolina isn't very good. But, this is probably OSU's best win thus far.

I didn't know anything about Latosha? Jones but she was pretty impressive tonight. They don't have much depth in the post but Jensen and Coleman are solid. Martin is the player I think Whitney Hand could have been if she stayed healthy.

I would love to have Martin even if she didn't score. Her rebounding alone is worth the price of admission.

OSU definitely struggled against the length of UNC tonight. OSU built double digit leads a few times, but couldn't maintain it and put UNC away.

Martin shot very poorly in the 1st half. But her defense & rebounding makes her so effective. Her 2nd half performance was so much fun to watch. If she continues this, she is definitely going to be an All-American.

Coleman and L Jones had their best performances of the season.

UNC hasn't got off to a great start this season. They are the most talented team on paper that OSU has played.

OSU needs to find a way to get better at 3point shooting. Otherwise they are going to face a lot of zone, or sagging man, defense to slow down the interior attack & Martin.

Thier bigs are going to be a problem for us. We have to have some muscle in there against them. They really pushed North Carolina around.

OSU just finished their pre-Christmas trip to Florida. They went 1-1 with a loss to #20 USF by a score of 68-46. Then the Cowgirls went to UCF and won 74-55.

I honestly expect to see at least 5 games that look like the USF score when the Cowgirls get into Big 12 play.

However, I haven't figured out the Big 12 yet. Nobody has played an extremely tough schedule. UT has played name brands and won but their SOS is not very high; I still expect them to be top 2 in the Big 12 with Baylor. Oklahoma has the highest SOS at 70 currently. And I think those end up the top 3 in the Big 12 this year.

From what I can tell, the other 7 positions are going to be up for grabs.

I know OSU will struggle with anyone who plays zone for sure.
