He commented that youth sports injuries have increased by a huge margin since 2000, He says he feels the biggest problem is overuse. He recommends that they not play the same sport year round. If baseball is their favorite sport, they should be away from baseball for 2 or perhaps 4 months a year. He strongly recommends that they play multiple sports rather than just one.
