Nothing sweeter than an opportunity to kick LSU's sorry butts – in any sport.

Wisconsin
Villanova
Memphis

Absolutely love the non conference schedule

LSU were good last year, but young. They'll be more experienced, but less talented with a couple players entering the draft.

nope they lost the experience .. they will be super young and even more talented ..

number 3 recruiting class in the country (per espn) #1 overall player PF and #3 SG and #11 SG

I think they got an Arizona transfer who is supposed to be big time as well.

Wow. I didn't look at their incoming class. Are those one and done type of players?

Johnny Jones can recruit with the best of em.

lucky for us he is not a very good coach ..

and as for 1 and done .. the #1 guy ben simmons .. is almost guaranteed 1 and done .. don't know about the guard ..

How many of those are home games? Is Wisconsin the only one, or is Memphis at LNC, too?

We are set up to get a 1 seed if we can get on a roll. Top schedule this year.

Luckily Jordan Mickey and their other stud left for the draft. Should be fun to see the possible #1 overall pick against the Sooners.

Really a killer schedule this year. Going to earn that ranking...

Now this is going to be the best schedule in basketball potentially. We will be battle tested going into Big 12 just to get battle tested again for NCAA's.

I wish there were a couple more home games among those tough tests.

And why does KU get a home game in this series for the second year in a row?

Why is this series in the middle of the conference schedule this year??

I think I remember reading somewhere that it's an effort to increase viewership/interest. Getting it away from bowl games and NFL playoff races is probably smart.

Basically it was buried in Nov and Dec over separate days and weeks. It didn't feel like a "challenge" in the way that the ACC/Big Ten Challenge does. Moving it all to the same day in Jan means that it feels like an event and gets lots of exposure for all the teams involved.

What are the chances of KSU, TCU and Tech winning? I don't know much about SEC basketball outside of Kentucky.
