OU at Texas

Does anyone know why we are playing this game at 11:00 a.m. on January 8. The odd thing about the time is it is on a Wednesday. Both the OU and Fexas websites show the same thing. It is televised on the Longwhorn network. I assume school will not be in session in Austin. You should be able to hear a pin drop in the superdrum.

That does seem really odd...surely there is a reason but I don't know what it would be.

It could be a school kids day. OSU played at KU midweek a few years ago early in the day. They had over 5k kids there from surrounding elementary schools.
