OU/BU 8 pm...turn around is short, ESPN2

We're staring at 4-14 in conference. Kruger's sell by date expired 3 years ago. But, but..."next year's class" is the rallying cry of this board. Even if there's some talent there Lon won't develop it. He needs to go after this season.

I feel bad for Austin Reaves. He could've gone about anywhere and he chose OU.

Just finished watching this game on a tape delay...I get some of you wanting to blame no one but Lon, but for the love of god...these guys HAVE to make critical FT's during crunch time!! The flagatant on CJ..we get 2 phucking FT's and the ball...a chance to come away with 0 to 5 points on that possession...and we get the GOOSE EGG!!?? After that...I knew it was game over!! Are you kidding me?! And the FT's weren't really close!! A guy who is a 80% FT shooter...a SENIOR!! That's on him...NOT LK! The kid was a 4 star...I doubt he was considered SOFT in HS! And Manek...you deserve some blame too!

Then we're down 4...and CJ takes a LONG 2?! I doubt he was coached to do that either! I. This team needs guys who want the ball at the end...no one wanted to take the shots at the end!! Harmon is that kind of player!! This team needs some leadership.

And like I've said before...3-16 from 3 land...when the other frockin teM was 10-22...that's killed us over this losing stretch. Some of it is just bad luck...guys on the other team hitting $hit that haven't hit this year...when it rains it pours.

How about that pathetic zone we were running? Lol

Good point regarding the long two taken by James. I was so mad about his choke job at the line that I forgot about that. Takes the most inefficient shot in the sport at the worst possible time. Other than a three possession stretch in the middle of the second half, he was a complete no show again. At least some of the other guys who don't score contribute in other ways. He gives us nothing other than an occasional rebound.

The long two was insanely stupid... If he was Hollis Price, good look. But because he's CJ it was horribly dumb.

The missed FTs by Manek and James were killer too. Then odomes falls down... Then Doo throws it away.

Bunch of crazy stuff from a team who doesn't know how to win.

Ok how about Gregg Marshall? No blue blood there and he calls fewer timeouts than any coach in the country other than possibly Roy. And he has as inexperienced team as you'll find this year.

Again, I personally would call more. But if you pay attention, he has called them quicker the past couple years than before.

yes he has...lol

I remember giving up 10-0 12-0 runs then he'd call a TO. I think this year it's only happened a few times.

what's wsu record?

it's like the guys treat the ball like the "hot potatoe" game....no one wants to hold onto the ball and take charge sometimes...weird.

From the Associated Press...

Oklahoma was 3-for-16 from the 3-point line (19 percent) and 8-for-15 from the free throw line (53 percent).

Kristian Doolittle led the Sooners (15-10, 3-9), who dropped their fifth straight game, with 14 points, and Brady Manek and Christian James had 11 apiece.

Oklahoma had plenty of opportunities down the stretch but couldn’t take advantage. James missed a pair of free throws with a chance to tie after a flagrant foul with 2:56 remaining, and Rashard Odomes slipped and fell on a drive down by two a minute later.

Baylor entered the game as the top 3-point shooting team during conference play, and that ability kept them in the game in the first half. Eight of their 10 field goals before intermission were from 3-point range, which accounted for 24 of their 31 points.
