Correct that a report had him below rim player. But just cause you can dunk does not make above rim player, example. Sam. But he appears to be above the rim player.

I hope he does stay another year but am not counting on it. If he is not quite NBA ready his market value in NCAA will be huge. Hoping hr just likes us OU people.

If Fears has the season we hope him to have, he would be nuts to come back. If our program is going to get where we want to be, having guys getting drafted early after one year will be a good "problem" to have.

According to KREF this morning Fears is the second highest rank pro prospect in the SEC, seems like it was 15th but don't quote me on that number. He has grown 3 inches in the last two years so his long term prospect may be even better, the taller he gets.

I agree, perception will help. But, OU needs to stack talent. If they cam parlay Fears into getting more top recruits, sure. If not, then it will be in vain.

He is a below the rim player…on a 13 foot goal.
