Don't know if we have acknowledged the women's b12 2nd place and the men's fourth.........plus Coach VanHootegem received b12 coach of the year honors

32 members made it to the NCAA West Prelim and I haven't caught up with what is happening there, rain yesterday delayed many events but I believe
at least one woman has qualifed for nationals in Eugene, Oregon.....cannot remember her event but not a running or jumping, maybe throwing

They may be building a good program. One of my favorite sports is track and field, especially women's. Next year, I will have satellite tv so can actually see some sports.

Because of the weather some events were moved indoors and most
got pushed back. I believe tomorrow is the last day of competition provided
the weather cooperates. So far 7 OU athletes have qualified to go to
nationals in Eugene, Oregon. That includes both men and women. If you are interested in following any of the events that are left, I believe at OU'S track and field page there is a link
to a site at KU which is showing them on the internet. There are some women's relays in the morning, can't remember other events still to be
completed. Daye Shon Roberson, who has qualified for nationals in the 400 meter, will be competing in two of the relays tomorrow.

So thirteen women and men are going to Eugene for the NCAA Finals.
Congrats to them and the entire team.
